NW Suburban AAUW is kicking off our 71st program year on August 19, 2018 with a gathering where we will look at our branches’ history of working in the community. Previous members set up and ran a preschool, set up a dental clinic for migrant workers and helped found Oakton Community College.
Join us for light refreshments as we look through scrap books from our 71 years of history. Our project this year is benefiting The Harbour. We will be collecting backpacks for clients of this non-profit organization which serves homeless young women and girls in the north and northwest suburbs.
