Membership Information
AAUW is a community that breaks through educational and economic barriers so that all women have a fair chance. Your membership makes AAUW’s powerful voice even stronger on critical issues affecting women and girls. We support legal advocacy, scholarships, community action and career development grants and monitoring legislative issues at the state and federal levels.
Membership is open to anyone holding an associate or equivalent (RN), baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university. The current membership year is from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. From time to time the branch will offer Shape the Future promotions to encourage membership at one of our events.

*$69 is tax deductible as AAUW is a 501(c)(3) organization. $3 goes to AAUW’s Action Fund, a 501(c)(4) organization, which pays for activities like the Lobby Corps.
The Member Community Hub requires that you have a user account to login. Create this with your preferred email as user name and a password of your choice. Select national member first and then add IL state member, followed by adding branch member. Your branch affiliation would be Northwest Suburban (IL 4051). After you complete registration and payment, you are an active member. The next time you visit aauw.org you will use the same login.
